Stories
Why we built Sanare.
Three stories about the question no one asked. They are why Sanare asks about your whole life, not only the symptom in front of you.
The question nobody asked: What happened the year it started?Sleep
Sarah
What does one missed question cost?
Twenty years. For two decades Sarah woke three hours and forty minutes after falling asleep, every single night, heart pounding, soaked in sweat.
Sleep studies. A week at the Mayo Clinic. Sleep apnea, so a CPAP machine. Narrow nasal passages, so they floated surgery. Insomnia, so pills. Every diagnosis was confident. Every one was wrong.
Nobody asked what happened the year it started. One practitioner finally did. When Sarah was a girl, a fire tore through her family’s house three hours and forty minutes after she fell asleep. Her body had been reliving that night ever since.
The question that cracked a twenty year code took four minutes to ask. That is the kind of question Sanare asks at the first intake.

Tom
What happens when you refuse to just manage it?
Insulin and medication, before and three months in
Twenty nine years. That’s how long Tom managed his Type 2 diabetes.
Insulin. Five medications. A specialist every quarter. An estimated $500,000 spent by Tom, his employer and his insurer, and an unacceptable blood sugar number stuck in the same place for decades.
Every credible website and every doctor had the same message. “Type 2 diabetes has no cure. Manage it for life.”
He refused to accept that. He took control and built his whole story, the labs no one had connected and the stress he had carried for years.
Then he researched four programs that asked why his body stopped regulating blood sugar in the first place, and picked the one that fit his story. A twelve month program that reports more than 18,000 participants off diabetes medication.
It treated his body and his nervous system together. Breathing, posture, meditation, intention, diet and movement, right alongside his medicine.
Three months in, he takes half the insulin and half the medication. His A1C is under 6.5, the lowest it has been in decades.
Every medication change was made with his care team. Never change insulin or medication on your own.
What Sanare does in a story like Tom’s: it puts the labs, the history and the stress in one place, so the choice of program and care is made with the whole picture. Sanare chose no program and changed no medication.
Based on real cases. Names and details changed. Not verified by Sanare; details as reported. His care team made every medication decision. Results vary. Sanare does not diagnose.

Maria
What if the research was there all along?
Maria had a ringing in her ear that wouldn’t stop. A dentist, an urgent care doctor and an ENT all came up empty. Every AI tool she tried said the same thing. There is no cure.
We found research most doctors are never trained to ask about. Tinnitus is linked to hearing loss and to head, neck and jaw problems, according to the National Institutes of Health. Maria had hearing loss and a neck and jaw injury, and a year of severe stress before the ringing began. Treatment for her neck and jaw began, and the ringing is fading.
That kind of research lives in our library.
Based on real cases. Names and details changed. Not verified by Sanare; details as reported. Her clinicians made every treatment decision. Results vary. Sanare does not diagnose.
